Federico Bianchi

Director of Soccer Operations and Coach

Federico is a 2005 graduate in business from Boston University where he was a 4 year member of the Division 1 men’s soccer team. As a senior, he was the captain and he led the team to the America East conference title and a NCAA tournament appearance, losing in the second round. He was awarded the America East Tournament Most Valuable Player for his performance in the post season.

Immediately after college Federico had playing stints with the LA Galaxy reserve team, and a few United Soccer League teams, including the Long Island Rough Riders and the California Victory.

After his professional playing career, Federico quickly knew that he wanted to continue to be a part of the game of soccer and began his coaching career. In the past 10 years, he has coached multiple club teams and semi-professional teams. He is currently a Head Coach at Santa Monica United and he is the Head Coach of the Crossroads Boys Varsity Soccer Team. His Crossroads coaching accomplishments include, 2 league championships, a CIF Finals appearance, and a CIF State Championship in 2011 (the first in school history).

Federico has shown a passion for working with the development of youth soccer in Southern California and continues to work with many players and organizations to increase the overall knowledge and soccer culture in the community.
