Daryl Roper


Daryl Roper has been an educator and coach for over 25 years, he has won over 15 league championships, 5 CIF Championships, a State championship and over the years his teams won several other prestigious tournaments such as the Myrtle beach South Carolina Beach Ball Classic. Roper holds degrees in Ethnic Studies and Physical Education and is currently an educator at Crossroads School, in Santa Monica, where he has coached the Varsity Boys Basketball Team for over 20 years.

During his career, Coach Roper, has earned the honors of CIF Southern Section Coach of the Year and LA Times Coach of the Year, several times. Roper was one of the few to be selected as a commissioner/coach for the prestigious NIKE All American camp, which hosted 180 of the top players and coaches in the nation. Coach Roper was also chosen to be one of the directors at the inaugural Michael Jordan camp and currently isĀ  the Basketball Clinic Director for the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation.

Daryl Roper tirelessly spends time helping schools, and other foundations, with their programs and mentorships to promote education through athletics.
